Hello
Picking up my new (two year old but new to me) D3 tomorrow. Boy am I excited. Currently in a Freebie day to day and have a Series 3/88 County sat at the bottom of my garden waiting for that bit of time when I can finish it off (only two years at it so far). Been fancying a Disco for yonks and was in the market for a late D2 TD5 but haven't early D3 prices dropped lately? Happy I am though as it means I have finally got my hands on an 06 TDV6 7 seat base courtesy of Farnells. A weekend of excited driving awaits........... I don't want to belong to any club that would have me as a member...........

Was that Farnells in Guiseley? If so I think I saw you there when you took it for a test drive, I was collecting my D3 following a bit of work!! TDV6 HSE Auto in Arctic Frost - Hers

Looks very interesting thanks but I think I'd best pass this time. Need to fully achieve transition from Freebie 1.8 petrol to the beast of a D3. The electronic hand brake really had me thinking - nothing to yank! Think I'd better get fully accustomed to my new toy before I get the wheels muddy. Besides I can just hear the wife now.........!! Welcome Steve
Glad you got a good deal (I'm gutted with the way my HSE has dropped in 18 months ) and look forward to hearing your impressions of the beast.

snowy, this one ain't too high mileage 62k, but it was used for an airport runway repair company, i'm well happy with it, even the colour i'm looking at speccing it up a bit, descent all terrain tyres, snorkel, g4 rack etc, altho i've had a suspension issue allready, it sometimes goes down at the back when sat for a couple of days
