Welcome Dufftown
Great choice of colour though (being picky) you've got yours wrong in you profile, it'll be Chawton not Alaska white (Alaska wasn't introduced until late last year)

Well, I guess I am the new guy. It looks like I picked a good time to join as I too have a white Disco 3 (like the last few to join). I have had 4 Land Rovers over the last 8 years. I have had two RRCs, a Disco II and now a Disco 3.
I have been active on a Northern California forum and have been on many trails with my RRC and Disco II. Now I have focused on the LR3 and I have a lot to learn.
Thanks for a great forum,

Hi all,
Just thought i'd post a hello to all you guys as i'm new to DISCO3.CO.UK, just traded up from a D2 to a D3 HSE and have to say 'i'm loving it', an absolutely fantastic bit of kit.
Would like to say a big thanks to everyone that has posted faults and solutions, and tips and tricks as it has helped me know what to look for before buying mine.
I'm sure i'll be posting in the future when mine starts developing faults etc
Regards
Lee

Hi - I'm new here and not yet an owner but having realised that a S/H Disco 3 represents such good value for money, especially compared to the 110 Defenders I have previously been considering, I think I shall be acquiring one fairly soon. It seems from what I have read so far that the choice of dealer is almost more important than anything else! Are there any recommendations for the Stockport area? (or should I pose this question elsewhere in the forum?)

After seeing Slimers White D3 and then Ex Ken's / Now Discostu's, white is next for me late 2009. I like the white and growing towards the colour coding.

The current consensus seems to be that Guy Salmon Stockport is OK. That's where I bought mine, and a few other forum members also use them. If you want to go outside the main dealer network, there are some early D3s popping up on various forecourts. For example, there has been one at High Peak 4x4 in Chapel-en-le-Frith for the past couple of weeks. Mark...

Hi colinm;
welcome. i know Ascot - Berks is a bit of long way, but had great service from them since day one.
The service guys are well organised and very customer focused - which many companies lacks today.

| Newbie saying Hi and thanks |

Just signed on and wanted to say hi and thanks for this wonderful resource. I've used the site as just an observer and decided to sign-up in the hope that I might be able to add to the forum. So far been able to change both sets of pads with confidence and courtesy of the guides in here.
On our 4th Disco and at a loss what we might change it for and based on other peoples experiences, seem to have been extremely lucky with our cars so far. Our other car is a Honda Civic 1.8 vtec and hate it!
Keep up the great work and hope I can add some value.
Juan
