Evening All,
My names Colin, I live in Wrexham.
I drive a Mondeo at the min that I've owned for about 6 months.
I'd love to find myself a disco3 but it'd have to be at the right cash.
Joined today to hopefully get some good advice from you good people.
Cheers

Hi I'm Richard
Just got my first Disco 3 TDV6. Just Love it!
Within 2 weeks of buying it, I towed my 23ft Caravan to North Wales for a weeks holiday, the 2nd week we travelled down to South Wales, Gower Penninsula, for another week. then travelled home. What can I say.....she pulled like a dream.
I've always liked Land Rover as opposed to Range Rover because they spell great value for money. My Disco3 was more in my price bracket, and has not failed to come up with the goods, so to speak. My wife's boss has a Range Rover Vogue, but for a car that is not even a year old, my Disco3 outstrips his for quality, workmanship and reliability.
My first upgrade on my Disco3 is to put side steps on, and thanks to this great website I've found another Land Rover site that can show me how. Thanks everyone. It's great to be here and meet with like minded Land Rover enthusiasts like myself.
Nice to mee you all!!! The Land Rover Discovery 3 is a Mansize Tonka Toy, Built with Strength to spare!!!!!

Hi all...
Just having to wait what seems like an eternity till the end of the week to pick up my first D3. Have been lurking getting some excellent info off the site prior to purchase.
Had a Defender 50th V8 Auto for 5 years but sadly she had to go.
Swapped for a 110 Td5 but too agricultural for me and the clutch is killing my left knee.
D3 - The wife always wanted one, but what a revelation. Drives like a big Mercedes saloon, looks to be excellent off road, and full of the comforts of home - especially useful this time of year in Yorkshire. The TDV6 is superb, twice the engine the Td5 is and so smooth and quiet..!
Site seems great, been looking for a substitute forum since I left the Defender 50th forum.
Just need to pick her up and get her muddy now...!
