New Member from the Isle of Wight
Hey everyone! Just a quick hello to the abundance of knowledge of the discovery haha
I’m Guy from the Isle of Wight, looking to buy my first discovery (4)
Currently put an offer down on this one....
It’s a lovely car, not ‘mint’ but I’m not interested in mint
2010 80k HSE TDV6
It has a slight knock from suspected Hydra bushes?? But it has 12 months transferable aftermarket warrantee
I was originally after a green one, but came across this locally and instantly fell in love!
And obviously my girlfriend is very keen to roll in a disco
Going to buy a fixed towbar for it as we do a lot with horses
And I’m a boat builder and forever towing a trailer!
Let me know what you guys think, and also if there is anything I need to look out for

help with fault codes required
Hi Guys, After having a new throttle body assy fitted then to find i needed lower arms as well i have spent considerable time and money on the beast now i have 'suspension fault' (always on) 'HDC fault' (only occasionally) and 'parking brake fault' (once). The warning messages clear if i turn the ignition off and back on but soon come back. I have lost faith with my local 4x4 garage as they are so busy they are turning work away and i dont think they have time to do the job properly.
I have been advised to contact 'Woody32' as apparently he is the man to help me in Weston super Mare so if you're out there 'Woody32' HELP! (please)

Hello all @ the disco3 forum.
brand new to the site so go easy on a 49 year old virgin (disco owner)
finally taken the plunge and bought my dream machine Disco 3 HSE on a manual in Galway Green after months of looking and pondering finally manned up.
picking up next Saturday so will be part of this site going forward.....
look forward to the chats and excuse my exuberance of youth........
just a thought...it seems to me that a cheap way of enhancing and upgrading the disco3 is a front grill change in matt black available on the worlds best market for £69. relatively cheap and certainly easy to install.....
also standard lamps to LED would make a difference.....
any other ideas???

New owner
Morning all,
Picked up my new 08(57) D3 HSE on Saturday.
Great so far, first Land Rover, upgraded from a Nissan Xtrail T31.
Sure I'll be asking lots of questions.

Uppershirleyeagle - yes it's an auto.
Only had it a few days but loving it so far. In for cambelts tomorrow. Came with side steps but they're coming off as I'm not keen.

Evening,
Not currently an owner, but already thinking of my next car!
Have had a D1 and D2, now looking at D3s. Currently drive a Ssangyong Rexton, which does everything I want, but miss my Disco.

when I pick up my D3 there is a bolt on tow bar which I won't be using as tow kit also provided with the push fit arrangement......
dealer says its a recent attachment so if anyone needs one......form an orderly queue
