Hi all first post on here.have 06 silver,washed it on friday evening only to discover dash lights/heater/hand brake fault light/central locking just about everything lit up to the extent i had to put it in the garage and disconnect the battery.on inspection this morning,behind the battery i found an interface box with 3 plugs going into it.there was water lying in the plugs from the hose causing the problem.dried it out all seems ok now.just thought to pass this on,might help?cheers if only the new shape landcruiser didn't look so japanese!!!

Hi scd,
Unfortunately, you've experienced a well-known problem.
It would be best to remove "the box" (actually contains an ecu), open it up and make sure that it is thoroughly dried inside. Then close the box, seal it thoroughly, seal the connectors and refit.
In future, avoid spraying water around in the engine bay as much as possible.
