A frame Nudge Bar
Hi wonder if any one will know the answer to this? I've just taken off a Land Rover Discovery 3 A Frame nudge bar with spots from my disco 3 the Question I have is around the bolts holding it to the chassis. Now i've removed the nudge bar i'd like to know if the screw holes they were mounted into is a fixture of the chassis? I'd like to now this because I was thinking of selling the nudge bar, but don't want a call saying there is nothing to screw them into! BTW it leaves a nice mess when you remove the nudge bar! Four nice holes in the bumper to cover up. It looks like the hole mounts are in the chassic and if fit the nudge bar, you need to attach the top brackets under the bonnet then cut four holes into the bumper to locate the bolt fixings.

The brackets are removeable behind the bumper cover.
I took off the bumper cover to remove mine when I put it up for sale.
However I do understand that there are two different types of fittings for the 'A' frame.
Maybe yours is this second type Duncan🏴

Thanks for the advise guys. Anyway of knowing which A-frame I might have? It's defo got the four bolt holes either side of the number plate. The number plate also screw fixes.
I'm sure if i sell it you can purchase the brackets from LR?
thanks

Its the NON Winch version as it has the Cross support where the Reg No is.....I dont think the brackets are available seperate, but the fixing Kit is, which means you need to sell the Bar dirt cheap, or get the brackets off to actually make it worth while.
The 4 bolts also have sleeves, 2 long and 2 short, these are a MUST

Yep that's the one. Thanks for the picture.
Is it easy to get the bumper cover off? If not what do you think it's worth without the fiting kit and the spots attached?
cheers.

TBH the spots are worth more , but I would sell together unless you get a great offer.
The skin is'nt difficult to remove, just time consuming really.............If you look up landrover owner info, and download the A bar fitting guide, it will tell you how.
Fitting kit was approx £75, my dealer broke the top plastic brackets on warrenty work, so had to buy in a kit for me, sold most if not all of it off..........No brackets left before you ask.

Just taught id post seen as its related to the topic,
there is an a-bar (same as macleods313's) with LR driving lamps and wiring for sale on an irishwebsite for €300.
Not sure if all fittings are included, regarding a-bar though.
