Hi,
I'm looking to chip my 2007(07)Disco 3 TDV6 SE to gain increased performance and economy, though I've been led to believe an increase in economy is not possible and that I should take these claims with a pinch of salt and so was wondering what to go for. I've made enquiries of one of the Forum members regarding his particular kit but was also made aware of another by Superchip. Has anyone any experience of either of these 2 and if so what were your feelings about either of them. The Superchip setup cannot be changed back to standard whereas the other setup can. I'm hoping the cost to carry this out is not prohibitive and was also wondering what I can expect to pay to have this chipping carried out.

My last Discovery was Superchipped.
This time with my new D3 I chose Pete Bell's BAS - in my view a better solution.
I have enhanced performance, and if I don't use the performance then I seem to get about 2 mpg extra when cruising at a constant 70-75 mph on the straight & level.
Overall no regrets and super service from Pete.
I would go with BAS next time.

Chipping limited enough over here so I purchased the Superchips plug and play version as advertised on LRM.
You receive a hand held device which downloads your ECU data and you then upload it via internet. Then you get back a download to suit your D3. Works well for me and is fully reversible. You can also use the handleld as a diagnostics tool and will also clear fault codes.
