Hello all, parking brake locked on and made a horrible noise. Finally managed to manually disengage it with the cable pull and a bit of wobbling it back and forth in neutral.
Warning light still flashing so know it might need relatching / replacing. Can't get it into the garage for a week and need to drive it, question is, is it safe?

It would fail an MOT so legally you would invalidate your insurance Andrew
