******The NEW 255/55x19 General AT******

Please take some time to look at the NEW General AT. Thumbs Up

Go to www.ajstyres.co.uk

Click on the red GT logo halfway down the left side of my home page.

Quite a few pages so make a cup of tea and "GRABBER" some biscuits. Rolling with laughter

Prices not firm yet, should know end of next week, fingers crossed stock available at the end of the month.

Only just returned from the launch in Germany, what a tyre they have produced, we tested them on D4, FFRR and 110 Defenders.

I think this tyre will keep most of you very happy, better than ATR. Thumbs Up

Better than ATR? Excellent news. 8)

Better how exactly? It's great to hear it's better but in what respect? Have you got some data on braking distances, water dissipation, wear rate?
I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Sidewall strength seems to be very good, I managed to get them to do a 4 hour round trip to bring two new un-mounted tyres for me to look at, in all we had 60+ people driving all day in about 25 vehicles, some with no experiance off-road over some very testing terrain, I had a very close look at all the vehicles after the event and saw NO sidewall damage, also none in the tread to speek of.

Tested on road on all types of surfaces at all legal speeds, there is NO noise, it's great.

No it will not be as good off-road in my opinion as AT2, but times are changing and a slightly less aggressive and quieter tyre had to be born, but we have been told that because of the design it still performs very well in mud, till I get a chance to put this to the test I will reserve judgement.

Andy.

Excellent Andy. They look great. Loads of great info, and so quickly after the launch. I know you haven't had prices yet, but have you any idea of where they will fit (price wise) in the current lineup of 19 Tyres? Oh, and please can I have 4!
