Washer pump working but not pumping !

Hi guys and girls, Very Happy Firstly Happy Christamas to you all hope Santa has been generous ...

Is it possible to change the washer pump for the screens without dismantling the bumper / grille / lights etc, my pump's motor runs but nothing coming out (fluid is not frozen as headlamp washers do work) a step by step guide would be good thanks...... Stupid place to put a washer bottle isn't it ..... anyone come up with a mod to heat it somehow ?

Thanks in advance

Chas

Did you check if the pipes have come loose and you're getting washer fluid on the ground rather than on your windscreen?

If you hear the pump running then most probably it is still operational. Does the rear window get washed? (pump is in fact double pump: one for windscreen en one for rear window) Maybe the water in the water bottle is not frozen, but the water in one of the rubber hoses (or both) is! Try parking for instance the car for a few hours in an underground parking or another place where temperature is above 0 gr. Celsius.
If in the end changing pump is necessary, it can also be done by removing cover of wheel arch after, if necessary, having removed the front wheel. Thumbs Up
