Well his subject line says auto so I'm guessing it's an auto.
I'm in the same boat. All I find on here is everyone saying have some guy from the forum do a megaflush. I'm on the wrong side of the pond for that. I emailed him hoping for some info on alternative fluid and never heard back.
Hopefully some diy'er will chime in.Sceen name use to be "wantsanlr3"

I have seen the notes you provided elsewhere on the site (thanks anyway), I was rather hoping there would be something a little more descriptive (more akin to Bodsy's brake bible, photos etc etc, the whole nine yards!!)
Maybe there isn't one

There was a guy on the forum, Not in England. He did a pictorial with homemade pump, and success. Forgot his forum name though.

I was thinking of a more conventional double flush 'down at the gear box', it appears no one has ever fully documented this
(I did see a post from Stu, when he did his..... and having to have the car running to get all the oil in. Can't seem to find that post now).

The method Filo used is the one I was thinking of.The pump is used to get the quantity of oil that was pumped out back into the auto box.The advantage of this method is that you get some of the oil out of the torque-convertor,which does not happen if you just do a drain.Hope this helps.
