Summers here (well for a short while  ) and as you can guess, air con on but not so cool 
Thought is was working when I picked it up from dealer but that could just have been the cold air from outside as it was February. I've seem many threads on the forum about corroded pipes especially the rear set (yes, my HSE has rear air con  ).
Does anyone know / can recommend a good mobile air con engineer in the Cambridge area

Well - obviously no mobile AC engineers in my area so took it to my local indy.
Just got the quote for my HSE - front to rear pipes corroded (as suspected). 
Air con pipes x 2 @ £ 128.97 = £ 257.94
Specialist service/ re-gas air con £ 60.00
Labour £ 141.00
Total £ 458.94
VAT @ 20% £ 91.79
Total value £ 550.73
Warranty is with Auto Protect but don't know yet what their response will be.

not cheap!
I take it from your opening line that you don't use the air con during winter? You should give it a blast every now and again to keep it all working tickety boo, otherwise they don't function too well if left redundant for long periods of time

I just leave the climate on all year round. hopefully that will lead to less problems,

Ive just had 3 leaks fixed and 4m of pipe replaced, took 16:30ish to 22:00ish on a saturday evening and it cost me £195... Duncan

V cheap. Using LR pipework, or them making something up to suit??? Or was this labour only?

using flexible pipe. chap said the metal pipe was as cheap as chips but they charge a fortune because it is bend to fit the vehicle. he redid mine with flexible pipe.
provides a great service and very, very thorough, but he talks too much
£195 included all materials and labour. + two cups of coffee and a 500w flood light so he could work in the dark
