in the luxuryCare policy it could be covered :
Quote:"Miscellaneous
Exhaust gasket, exhaust pipes, catalytic converter,
auxiliary drive belts, brackets, mountings, pipes and
hoses, water ingress, cables other than clutch"
What level care have you got ?
I would say its a spare wheel mounting Duncan

From memory, the replacement doesn't actually cost that much, nor is it difficult to DIY replace, is it worth the hassle.

Thats the thing, i think i have luxury care and until swmbo gets home to check policy i cannot do anything,
Re is it worth the hassel? well if it is covered then yes whats the point of me paying £500 for something that i don't use the cost is irrelevant, i have a front bush that has just gone and that is £30ish so lets say on ebay new mechanism is £90 plus postage £7.50 we have
mechanism £97.50
Bush £30.00
Tailgate latch £120.00 failed in April this year
Total £247.50
Thats why it's worth the hassel small things add up so the £500 policy i have paid is now down to £252.50 and i still have seven months cover to go, but thanks for your useful comments

You should read your policyy then.....things arent covered...live with it.
Lol, you come on here complaining when you havent even checked the policy yourself then have the cheek to moan that my info has been unhelpful and give me a yawn emoticon. Least i went on the website and checked the info which you could have done...what a to**er!!
People like you are the reason i reply to very few posts anymore.

Nice attitude Packing Strips
I would have similarly assumed that the wheel winch is covered. It's not bodywork, it's a mechanical part of the car.
It's also not a wheel or a tyre.
That said... I'm not sure I'd spend much of my life fighting it. Long succession of Disco's since 2001...

Yeah nice one ! I found your comment as helpful as the other 207 which you posted !
I've got to admit that's one of the reasons I rarely come on here any more !
I can't be arsed to sit tapping away to give u the finger so just imagine what it looks like !
By the way I think there is another forum where all the other tossers have gone to ! Only dead fish go with the Flow !
