Headlamp washers not working |
|
Hi all,
I just noticed the front head lamp washers don't seem to work any more.
My understanding was they wash every 3 squirts of the windscreen washers.
I tried various lengths of windscreen washes and still the head light ones don't work.
I tried to look for a fuse but I couldn't work out which fuse it might be from the manual. Is the fuse in the engine bay or behind the glove box? I'm guessing there must be 3 pumps (one for the windscreen, one for the head lamps and one for the rear window) and each with it's own fuse. I might be wrong.
Anyone know or suggest what to look for?
Thanks,

GM,
No I'm not checking with the lights on. They used to spray even with the lights off. Maybe this was something changed in the latest software.
I need to check if they do work with the lights on.
Thanks for the tip.

If your washer fluid level gets under a certain point it will stop washing headlights.
Try topping up fluid.
Cheers

GM,
You are right. They work with the lights on. Sort of makes sense doesn't it.
Thanks again.
