I guess if you modify too much you're almost building in an element of unreliability in exchange for extreme performance.
Although from what I've seen and read, the D3 is pretty much all you'll ever need.

Hi 10forcash,
Thanks for your help with the airpipe.
Ref the 18 inch wranglers, amazingly only had one puncture, in the sidewall that we managed to repair, but did not need it. The worst conditions for us were the night drive on the greasy surfaces. We spent most of the time sideways!
The V8 petrol is still running terribly despite a tank full of Super unleaded.

no worries matey , sounds like you might need to give the spark plugs a bit of a wipe and possibly may have some hard errors in the engine control that need clearing... how's the air filter? for Freelander 2 Diesel, Discovery 3 / RR Sport TDV6 & RR Sport TDV8, Defender (TD5 & Puma) - available Now!

Found that there is quite a difference in the JE up-grade compared to the TC up-grade whilst accelerating from 60mph. Can I post the results Mods

May not have been scientitfic. But I still think it is a result that should be available to the masses.
2 Loaded auto HSE D3s travelling at 60ish MPH up-hill.
The TC car is closing on the JE car (not racing at this point)
The TC driver radios the JE driver and asks "shall we see whose is the fastest"
The JE driver replies "Yes"
At this point the TC car is now along side the JE car, The JE driver floors it.
