Hi Guys, Just a quick question.
I live in Australia, own a 2006 D3, done 39000km.
My question is, every 6 month since I have owned it, the dealer as more or less informed me that a wheel alignment was required. At a quick calculation, over 6 1/2 year, service every 6 months, means the vehicle has only done about 3000km/service. Why does the alignment goes out in a short time, and is always on black top, would be game to do a big off road trip. Is this a standard problem with the Disco 3.
And another thing, just had the 6 1/2 year done yesterday, and again wheel alignment was out (8mm toe in front), they then told me the tyres are worn out, I told them to do a alignment and I will replace the tyres latter, they refused to do this, unless I purchase new tyres from their tyre dealers ( i didnt take it up), arrived home, took it to local tyre dealers, they informed me the the tryres are not worn out, and will last at least another 4000km, but now I have to get the alignment done locally.
And third, nothing to do with tyres, after the service, my instrument panel (trip meter) was in miles, not km, so rang them, they told me to drop in in the next few day ( I live 550km away from them). lol
