First: it wouldn’t work on your engine, since the VIN is programmed in the ECU, so in te mapping.. wrong VIN. Doesn’t work..
Second: we all pay for such mappings, so why should we give it away?
Third: a polite and proper introduction, might get you some more helpfull advice.. just bang, and asking in oneliners does not do the best trick imho..
Just want to help..Best regards
Harold

He probably read that book by 'Trump' 'How to make friends & influence people' Welsh Collie Chauffeur Service To Barney & Rooney.
I would suggest that you consider the condition of your engine before remapping, which will put extra stress on "elderly" components.
In particular review the service history, have the belts been replaced, the oil pump uprated etc..

yes 2007 have an inherent design fault with the oil pump .

All good comments
So Pete, is the 2007 V8 the only one with this bad oil pump. I have a MY05, V8, 4.4L, should I be concerned with this? Might should add a physical oil pressure gauge. Right now I have 109K on the clock, all maintenance done since I had her but not a lot of records. I checked for recalls, and it seems all have been done on my ride.
Once again I would like to let everyone know that I do appreciate all the help I have gained from knowledge here and I do try to spread the wealth, especially on the US based forums from you guys' good will.
Might pull my brake calipers and replace the slider pins or at least clean and lube them, as I missed that during my total vehicle service, all fluids changed. Found a good guide on Utube for cleaning the galleys of the slider pins. Just changed upper/lower BJ's and TR Ends, still need to get it aligned.
Due for service, so this weekend looks to be greasy and dirty for me.2005 Land Rover D3, 4.4L V8, Maya Gold Metallic

Hmmm..... so as the proud owner of a 100k+ 2007 2.7v6 I'm now worried about my oil pump.
How can I tell if it needs changing.... or does "100k+ 2007 2.7v6" give me the answer to that?
Is it an amateur mechanic thing or a job for a professional?

V8 or V6
Chain tensioners, I thought that was the V6, LOL.
It's like a game of "Trouble". I guess they had to give us all at least one thing. Great now I will have nightmares about tearing down an engine, thanks Ian, Thanks.
And away I go to search for timing chain tensioners, not sure I'll tackle that one myself. Maybe drive the Cheep (Jeep) to Chicago next weekend. Wonder what monument those idiots will tear down up there.2005 Land Rover D3, 4.4L V8, Maya Gold Metallic

How you know is the fact that its a 07 MY, but it matters not really as even the early ones let go too. If you can change the timing belts yourself, you can do the pump. yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

Ruper. The early jag v8 sufferer chain T problems. And the later 5 litre ones do.
However you in the middle should be ok.
If you hear a rattle from the front of engine at start up, then you could get them checked etc

welcome to the madhouse, Connormc2020 !
as you appear to be a scouser, your attempt at "if you don't ask, you don't get" mentality overlaps with my Manc version ... but is perhaps a stretch tooooooo far but always worth a try.
Not had it done myself but many on here enthuse about Pete Bell for this..
