Suspension fault

Had the usual suspension fault light come on in the dash display, normal height only etc.. This came on during the summer & I haven't bothered to sort it until now as I'm thinking of selling my beloved. After reading lots of posts on the subject & having spoken to my LR mechanic, the consensus was to replace the compressor. So I decided to take the bottom cover off & spray some soapy water around any joints to try & detect any leaks. And there it was blowing bubbles likes a 3month old baby, the 6mm outlet(blue) on the dryer cover so I decided to take a punt & bought a new air dryer cover with stainless steel fittings (rather than the original brass ones) from Landyair on the internet. Was able to fit it in place without removing the whole compressor. A bit fiddly but got there in the end, about an hours work. Result! No more leaks & suspension fault light now gone & height working perfectly. So check this before forking £450 + for a new comp. Replacement part less than £50. I appreciate that this will not work for everyone but definately worth a try Thumbs Up
