AT's should be fine, will quite possibly be better for the sand sections but you'd need to be a bit more careful in the rougher rocky ones as they're unlikely to be as tough as MT's
The 18" Grabber AT2's should (hopefully!) be available in the correct size by October or there's (amongst others) the 17" Cooper ST's

Hello
I guess that there were five D3 in this adventure...and i was wondering what about the car performance. There's always this feeling of "the D3 can't go to dessert because of the eelctronics"...and this "scares" to all D3 owners to try to make a "trip" to north Africa. For this reason i woul like to ask you some questions and also hear your comments.....
1) Did you have any electronical failure?. All five went wright?.
2) Did your cars got "beached" due to "electronics"?. What precautions did you took...DSC desconected, What abourt TR?...so everythin wright.
3) How was the performance compared with the defenders...(honestly)
4) Overall impression and any recomendations?
Thanks. Nash Nacho

Very true Ray, with the exception of Ray's 130 which definitely outweighs a D3
