Oil patch under Disco 3 today

I've noticed what appears to be a patch of oil from under the near side front of my Disco today so I crawled underneath to see if I coulld see where it was leaking from and it is directly under a metal pipe that hangs down. I put my finger inside this metal pipe and its very sooty but doesn't seem oily, does anyone no what this is a drain pipe for?

Is this pipe sticking out towards the front of the passenger side front wheel? If so it is the exhaust pipe from the fuel burning heater - if you search on fbh, you should find plenty of posts about it. If it is this it will just be condensation mixed with soot from the exhaust and nothing to worry about Thumbs Up
