OK guys PLENTY of warning on this one!
2008 will be Land Rover's 60th birthday................
Should we arrange something special?
My suggestion is that we get RRSport.co.uk, Disco3.co.uk and Freel2 members together and go en-masse to one of the Landy Shows? The LRM show at Gaydon over the May Bank holiday would be a nice one.
Any suggestions?

Why get 'diluted' into someone else's event? i'm sure we could sort out our own - hire a campsite for a weekend, mobile bar, etc. etc. maybe even get a bit of laning in?

I think it will be easier for you, to co-ordinate the D3 one and just pass on the info to the other two sites (or Martin or whoever) if they want to do anything. Otherwise I can see it becoming a logistical nightmare!
But be great to have a 'BIG' meet of as many of the members as possible.

So given that it will (ineviatably  ) be a 'family' weekend, what sort of stuff do people want to do / see?
i'll start off...
1. beer tent
2. spit-roast a mentalist
3. second beer tent (in case the first one runs dry)

Need to sort the place for it first then we can decide what we will do but obvious the bear tent catering could be a big event What about Eastnor

Shouldn't 2. be spit roast an anti 4x4er?
See my similar post over on RRS for some more suggestions........ Kam is threatening to bring an X5 so it will be interesting to see if it can get passed the gatehouse at the BMHC at Gaydon!
