Hi
The price you've quoted sounds good to me, I think I paid about £420 and got them from my local independent fitters. Seem to recall they have a lifetime warranty, and mine are 255/60 18's.

Any updates from those with the Maxxis fitted?
I'm trying to decide what to do regarding tyres, and these are one of the options.

Had mine on for a year and have had no issues, wearing well and everything I would expect of a tire. I've got 265/65/18's with no rubbing.
I've got a set of 20 inchers with GGAT's on as summer tires but much prefer these, to the extent that I was about to swap over last weekend, had everything polished and ready to go on but decided to keep these on for the summer so may even be flogging the 20's.
They are a good tire and very keenly priced so you can buy with confidence.

Hello I've had mine on just over a year now, I'm happy with them.
They seem to be wearing well, for the money I'd have to recommend them.

Thanks for the updates.
They were on my list, but then I stumbled across new Pirelli ATR's on Ebay for less than £70 each, inc shipping from Italy, so I've ordered those instead.

Hi ,
Had the car in for a turbo pipe that split and some new brake pads and my local garage noted that I needed a new tyre .. Wife told him to fit so I now have one of these on the front .. Was just trying to decide if I should buy 3 more to match and looking at this I think I just might . I know i have a rear tyre that will need doing soon so might just do the lot ... Oh the joys of buying a car to have 4 different make tyres on it at different points in there life ! Be nice to get them all matched .
Unless anyone has any reasons not to that is ?

Are these Maxxis tyres still working well for people?
Thing of fitting these to my D3 ready for caravanning in the spring.

I put these on mine back in July. Did a few thousand motorway miles across Europe and they were great. Also a good bit of beach driving in Denmark and they performed well. Not done much off-roading otherwise and the winter has been kind so I can't comment on snow performance, but they seem great (and great value) to me after about 9000 miles.***GONE*** 2007 XS Manual in Wet Weekend (Stornoway Grey) ***GONE***

I concur.
I've probably done 20k miles on mine and they still have plenty of tread
so good for at least that again I'd say.
Never missed a beat, no slippage on wet roads unlike the GGAT's that
I had on my 20 inchers that gave me a few brown trouser moments.
My son has a set on his XC90 ( I know, I know but he was put off a Disco by all the scare
stories but his XC90 has its own issues and hasn't been cheap to maintain either)
and is very pleased with them.
I'd certainly consider replacing with the same when they eventually wear out.

Same here a few dirt tracks lots of M'Way miles and normal use done around 17,000 on them loads of tread left and extremely sure footed. will look at again when and if i still have the car Stephen

Thanks for the replies, look like a good buy then. I need a tyre for towing over muddy tracks but not genuine offroading so these seem to fit the bill at a good price.

Just seen these tyres have gone up by £40. I thought that price wouldn't last and very nearly bought a set to store for when I actually need them. Benefit of hindsight is a wonderful thing.
Makes them on a par all the other usual suspect ATR tyres so no longer a bargain.
