I think they felt that the pond idea wasn't practicle. After all most folk have their pond in the back garden, and trying to get a D3 down the alley at the side of the house (Wheely bin width) just isn't on, so they were only trying to stop you from making unrealistic suggestions...

I appreciate the concept of Land Rover mechanics in sub-aqua kit might be a little unusual, but not beyond the realms of possibility.
I will try and remember to keep my counsel in future. Contains sulphites

Personally, I thought the pond idea was the height of innovation,
coffeecup, you give up too easily, either get some bridging ladders to go over your house or practice the '2 wheel approach', Dukes of Hazzard style

I've got a lowly 'S' remember, which doesn't have power fold in Wing Mirrors.
So I'll give it a miss venturing south of the border, as I'm not going to get my hands dirty manually moving the mirrors (all those dead flys on the backs of the mirror.... NO...

So now that we cannot venture into the main forum arena for fear of persecution, where do we let other users know about how to make the Cabin Pre-Heat and Pre-Cool work without the radio on? Contains sulphites

clearly, you need to hijack a thread in 'off topic' then Martin will move it to somewhere appropriate - such as 'for sale'

coffecup, you do have 'powerfold' mirrors (assuming that the child vomit proof covers are not a speculative purchase) simply train the young coffeecup's to react to your command and jump out to fold said mirrors, apparently, they respond better to pleasure rather than pain (the children, not the mirrors)but it's your call.... for Freelander 2 Diesel, Discovery 3 / RR Sport TDV6 & RR Sport TDV8, Defender (TD5 & Puma) - available Now!
