Hi everyone,
Jamie I only have voice controls via the MMM unit, which only see the phone retrofit, it does let me store numbers via voice on the dsh but the retro system cannot access them....
well due to the weather no most cableing arrived today, so decided to fit the headrest today,
this is not for the faint hearted!!, as I did it in situ.... may have been easier with the seat out, but with the amount of shoving my arm up the back behind the leather trim, I think I did it the easiest way in the car, bar the positions i found myself in!!
will upload some photo's here shortly of the finished install of them, cables all routed and connected, just can't test the setup yet
hopefully monday will be kind via the post service!

Hi Jamie,
yes did this yesterday, when I discovered the nigtmare of no rear door wiring in them!,
removed the center consule and fitted the rear AV module in the cubbiebox at the same time as running the coxial to the front screen , I had already bought the connections from the site, so have the reversing camera and the venture cam one populates and located at the front middle of the centre consule for when i get a chance to run the reversing camera feed once fitted.
I have got a D4 rear tailgate handle assembly and am getting it colour coded at the moment.
I will need to get the latest software via Faultmate from a helpful member so i can carry out the Wiggs screen mode to make it think its a FFRR, them the camera will self change.
nothing like a challenge,
IF anyone has a spare DAB unit with a coxial lead I would be interested,
any ideas where the compass gets a feed from, my 4 x 4 info cannot access the compass.

Sounds like yo have been busy, I had to get my chakra cable from Audi to go from back of screen to the gearbox area, as nobody knows the lr part number.
I got my power and earth for the tv unit from the Bluetooth module.
The compass on the 4x4 screen is not always there, you have to go into sat nav screen, off road maps, select compass then go back to the 4x4 screen and it should then appear.d4 HSE in Corris Grey with Black options pack

Good luck with the soldering on the windows, have you bought the connectors yet that need soldering on?

It is the PP3 connectors that I used and have some spare, i will pop them in the post for you if you want.

got round to loading up the pic's of the interior with the headrest coverted to the DVD screen ones,
just for reference, thanks Lee / Flacks for the info on the connections at the rear of the screen, it let me get the coxial leads connnected and the dash back together!!

what i did with mine ran a fakra connector from the venture cam connector into the upper glove box to act as a spare in case i wanted to connect me ipod or other device.
this would then be activated via the hidden diagnostic screen, you never know when you may need it.....d4 HSE in Corris Grey with Black options pack

SUCCESS!!! got the rear screens working with the front also showing the Tv or dvd,
the rear remote is all working fine via the rear screen IR sensors, so just got to resolve the missing RSE in my touchscreen to have selection of rear audio controls available to me to activate the screens etc from the front.
Wiggs you got any ideas??, do I need to have a conection on pin 1 back for the touchscreen software to agree the RSE is there? the CCF can see it and the rear screens etc when i used my IID tool to activate the units accordingly and the rear headphones etc.
