off road at last

After a few failed adventures I have at last taken the beast off road.
It was snowing and all round me was white..I had the kid in the car and she was very pleased that Dad had a disco to get her to school because the school bus had stopped....at least I think she was pleased because she was looking out of the window with tears in her eyes.
Well after a few miles of on street fun I got to school but the snow as so deep that I had to engage low range..it must have been 1.5" deep!!
Well I pulled up next to the curb and then aplied power via the auto box and the disco pulled up the steep 1.5" incline.I can tell you that at one point The whole car leaned a full degree but with some quick thinking I stretched across to the other door to balance the weight.
Lord knows what I would have done in my other car.
On the way home my heart was a flutter but the snow was melting away.well better luck next year in the snow.
............Why does the whole country stop when I have seen more snow in my freezer!!
Bow down tie two birds together though they have four wings they cannot fly!!
