Rubber Mats and fitting.
Can anyone shed any light on why there is a hole in the rear rubber mats, as circled in the picture. If you buy the mats new, do they come with a tab or suchlike that you screw into the carpet, so that hole locates in there ?
There is nothing in our D4 where the hole currently sits when fitted.
Cheers

The above are just library photos. The D4 ones we have do have the correct duel holes in the main part of the mat. It is the single hole as circled I was curious about.D4 HSE Lux. my 2015 . Mariana Black

If you buy the mats new, they come with the screw in anchors for parts of the mat that extend between the rear seats and the doors. Just make a hole in the carpet with a screwdriver or awl and screw them in. They do stay in place without them though if you don't want to make holes in the carpetChris
