Hiya
Thinking of getting a DVD system installed for the kids in the back.Having looked at some of the galleries some of you guys seem to have had 2 sepearate screens fiited in the back, but not in the headrests, rather flipdown versions that appear to be of a decent size to views dvds properly. Can anyone recommend a system with infrared earphones and does the dvd system allow to seperate DVD's to be watched on the two seperate screens at the same time? Also will it in invalidate the Warranty:our D3 will be new and picked up on March 3rd.We live in the Midlands (Worcester) so if anyone knows of a quality installer recently I'd be grateful,
Thanks in anticipation !!!

My kids are more than happy - and quiet when using my wifes personal DVD player between the seats. We then unclip it and use it in the hotel, cottage, caravan or where ever we are for the holiday. I use it on long haul flights with work too as the battery is better than the laptop.
I have considered an install but will they get such sooooo much more out of it ? "To finish first, one first has to finish ...."

My 2 kids are happy with the dual screen portable version. The player fits (with velcro) nicely to the side of the front cen tre armrest, and remote control takes it from thee. Cables can be tucked round seats etc, power from rear passenger power supply.
i bought some panasonic wireless headphones and all is well on long journeys....
It is also portable - buy the accessorie mains adaptor and you get 2 screens to use from mains anywhere...
all less than £150...

Agree, an 8" philips one sits on the centre box perfectly, a 3.5mm jack to jack runs to the aux-in and the kids get to plug their headphones into the in-door audio modules we can the listen to the radio/cds while they watch......all up, £95
I did consider a roof mount but it obscures the mirror therefore would need two either side and the site sponsor wanted 1400 squid 2007 HSE Java Black.....sold
