I have a factory Satnav installed and I think it is total rubbish compared to my £300 tomtom ! Anybody know if it is possible to get tomtom to work on the D3 system ? D3 x2 D4 XS

I agree that the LR sat nav is rubbish, the routing choices are nowhere near as good as TomTom and I prefer the ability of TT to let you see the route in text form so you know in your mind if it is a good choice. I find the touch screen menu interface fiddly to use too and often end up frustrated with it. Tom Tom is so much better all round, no chance of the software working in the LR unit though, totally different system  2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto
