Thanks for the info Robbo770, I suppose could make it swappable in for test then bypass.
Alternatively fit a can with the internals shot away.

My exhaust gasket is shot, so while skipping the de-cat, I will use this guide for replacing it ! Great write-up. My Indy suggested a body-off to change the gasket. Pushing it a little bit I guess... 2015 Discovery 4 SDV6 HSE - Montalicino Red

Good luck, it's not quite as easy as Robbie and others make out , I've completed it today, it took about 12 hours in total, I would suggest you fit three new nuts as I had to chisel one off and I "lost" another somewhere in the under tray, along with the new gasket.
Remove the front off side wheel for better access, use looooong pair off snipe nose pliers to remove/fit the gasket, the forcep type are best It can when others can't,

I think I may get lucky, as a first visual inspection showed the downpipe and the bolts to be relatively recent. Fingers crossed! 2015 Discovery 4 SDV6 HSE - Montalicino Red

In that case they may only need tightening up, after soaking with penetrating oil first of course
I fitted three new nuts, strange thing was the new nuts although identical thread where 16mm nut size and the one that came off where 15mm, no problem you would think, but the wobbly ended ratchet ring spanner set I had bought purposefully for this job did not have a 16mm in it It can when others can't,
