I'm at the point of removing the front section from the rear section - but at the moment I can't split the clamp - and I've got to pop to a Parents Evening, so will have to resume in a bit.
Turbo bolts were awkward - particularly the top one, but as they have only been in for 10K weren't rusted in. Mark.

Seems the easiest nut to get at is the hardest to crack off
Had wd40 on it allll day. Even my superduper halfords profesh kit don't help.
Got good access on ramps and in extended mode too, and I have since added axle stands and blocks of wood under the chassis rails just incase
Given while lot a good soak and left it for the morning
But it's looking like my Indy will have this pleasure, which is a shame as I'm so in the mood to do it meself

I started to do this job today , got one nut off easily enough then remembered someone had posted that this
de-cat pipe might not fit from my2007 onwards ? yet robbo states that it it fits up to vin number 7a which mine is, also when i first emailed andrew at allisport I do mention that it is for a my 2007
so I obviously need to clarify that it will fit before I start the job again and scrape all the skin off my knuckles Last night I lay in bed looking up at the stars in the sky and I thought to myself, where,s the f**king ceiling!!

Normally, upto 7A chassis means pre 7A chassis no, so it would seem that it will not fit yours...My D3 Build Thread

Can you offer any tips of these rusty nuts of mine?
I don't want to be shearing off any studs or I will

Lube, heat and patience is key. And a long extension and universal joint helps no end
IIRC, the bore of the pipe is slightly larger on the 07 on carsMy D3 Build Thread

ok thanks DM better shake the dust off the grinder then Last night I lay in bed looking up at the stars in the sky and I thought to myself, where,s the f**king ceiling!!
Got mine fitted when I got back from parents evening. I did take the whole exhaust off because although I split the clamp, it wouldn't pull apart. Once on the floor it came apart easy enough. Though getting it back on the car was a bit of a challenge on my own Mark.
