Along with Turbos on the 2nd Suspension continues to give problems with warning lights.
Although dealer has yet to install software updates which they think might resolve the problem

Last three days out on the road has given me loads of bongs, lights and suspension failure messages together with car stuck in access hight. These failures seemed to be repeating at about 20 mile intervals. A quick ignition switch off and on again cleared up the problem, until 20 miles later when it all repeats again.
Disco in the dealer today for two new air distribution valves.
I hope they know this is a long term fix ???

Mine just started to entertain me with intermittent "suspension failures". Car is a MY06 TDV6 HSE, the symptoms are always the same: boing, amber light and "suspension failure" message. Always happens while cruising at normal speed in town, getting to a traffic light and stopping there keeping brake pedal depressed. This results the chassis "stuck" in a slightly forward-leaning position. (For whatever reason, could be tension inherent from the suspension geometry, the chassis cannot correct its height/level while I keep brake pedal depressed.) As soon as I release it, the chassis moves and the failure signal gone... TDV6 HSE Java Black, auto, difflock, fridge, winter, 7-seater, PDC, privacy, AHL, sunroof - 3rd row fixed

Just registered as a new member. I live in Italy and bought a new TDV6 SE in December 2005. The first 6 months were a nightmare with all the electrical faults that many other people seem to have. The local dealership in Aosta (northwest Italy) are hopeless beyond words.
A quiet period in the Summer was followed by a real surpise when having driven into a supermarket car park in Sept 06 the whole of the front left suspension (wishbone) sheared off and collasped onto the tarmac.
LR Italy had the car taken to the LR garage where the wishbone and transmission system had to be re-built. The garage said it was the first time it had happened to a Disco3 anywhere worldwide and I was very lucky it hadn't happened 10 minutes earlier when we doing about 70mph on the motorway.
After this disaster, and all the other probelms experienced with the electrics etc, I contacted LR Italy HQ in Rome to suggest they replace the car. It's taken three and half months to get a written response saying "nothing to do with us, sort it out with the dealership" (essence of a long convoluted letter).
Having called LR UK they directed me back to Italy saying sort it locally.....
As I haven't heard of a recall I don't even know if LR UK even heard about what happened. It was a life-threatening defect apparently caused by poor soldering and one would hope LR would taked steps to ensure this doesn't happen to any anyone else who might not be lucky enough to have it happen in a supermarket car park.
The latest offer from the dealership is to sell me an HSE at a "good price" or replace my current one with a second-hand one that's done 20,000km's.
Anyone else had this sort of runaround and if so any advice ??

2 days ago, after putting air in a rear tyre, I got an a suspension error message. So, after about 20mph there is a bong to say that I can only drive in normal mode, even though the car is in normal mode! Putting it into off road mode and then back down to normal still does not cure the fault. Booked in early July at the dealer.

OK problem appears to have been solved, no lights on for over a week.
The change has come about by the rewiring of my Electric Trailer Brake system, a Tekonsha Prodigy, appears that the signal pickup for the brakes was adding extra load to the ECU that handles the brakes which in turn sent some signals to other ECU's triggering the HDC, ABS , Special Programs and ultimately dropping the suspension.
If the problem returns I will report

All pickups are in the Passenger side cavity at the rear light , I will try to work it out on the weekend. I originally wired it in in accordance with the instructions an only had a couple of suspension problems for around 12 months, what triggered it I don't know but I then had a lot of suspension (plus HDC, SBS, TR etc.) problems which my dealer said were a result of the Prodigy installation as their test book showed a brake system current error.

I bought this vehicle in March 2005 and drove to holland from the Algarve three days later...... I didn't make it!! The alternator light came on just across the Belgian border I stayed calm as I thought as long as the engine is still running and I had a full tank of fuel I would make it to my hotel in Ziest and call the Recovery line. GPS switched off 30 km before my Hotel all kinds of alarms sounded so I pulled into a garage forecourt and put my Hand Brake on (Mistake) I could not take the handbrake off again (Electronic) Plus it was 18:30 on a Friday. Cut a long story shorter, we were taken to the Hotel (car as well) and I managed to park it in the Hotel carpark useing a MegaBoost from the Recovery vehicle.
Saturday Morning bought a battery charger and an adjustable spanner
Rather than be messed about I charged the battery in my hotel room and drove it to the nearest LandRover Garage first thing Monday Morning.
An interesting point: Open your Bonnet, lock the doors with your remote! Disconnect your battery and try and work out how to get in your vehicle with the user manual in the glove compartment. I chalenge you!!!!!!
I worked it out in the end but if your IQ is lacking your better off reading the user manual first. Your Key has a hidden key that pulls out of the remote housing and then you have to pull part of the handle off the driver side door to access the key hole TBC Im off for a swim
