| Total cost of work to my D3 |

Well chaps you know the story  so iv just sat down and added it all up ,all work done in my mates work shop , he charged me mates rates for all his time  
strip down
take body off 
drill out and heli coil rear tensioner bolt
fit new tensioner and belt
supply and fit new clutch , clutch from TLO
blank egr
make and fit all new break pipes front to back
fit new rear bushes ,
total clean down and wax oil chassis
refit body
new pannel clips
take out injector and fit new washer
fit new return pipes
rebuild alternator , coz put battery on the wrong way 
2 trips to indy to calibrate steering and check on his gizmo
2 trips to auto lec to sort satnav and amp
all parts and labour
TOTAL £1480.00 didnt think that was to bad -------------------------------------------------
if you cant hold on dont let go , it ill come in handy for something even if you never use it.

Exceedingly good value. Dealer would want more than that for belts + clutch
As a matter of interest, what condition was the clutch / how many miles on it? Long succession of Disco's since 2001...
SIII Lightweight - neglected & rusting. Bulkhead, A panels, vent panel & outriggers now disintegrated - Next years project!

hi dave clutch looked ok for 125k but thought do it as easy to get to -------------------------------------------------
if you cant hold on dont let go , it ill come in handy for something even if you never use it.

well after 40 years of being best mates, with out a crossed word in all those years we help each other out as hes got his own buisiness as a steel fab and welder , i make sure he gets all our steel work jobs the last one he done for me was worth 15k for him and i love getting him totally p****d  hes a light waight when it comes to drinking  -------------------------------------------------
