Hi, first time here.
I'm purchasing a d3 S soon and I am planning to tow a car transporter trailer up to 2000kg at times with it.
The d3 S I am interested in doesn't have a tow bar currently so I will need to get one. I know there is a detachable and multiple fixed tow bars available but the question is which one?
Does the D3 S have the trailer electrics as standard?
Any suggestions or advise welcome

They don’t have electrics as standard
Not difficult to fit
There was a recall on detachable towbar so you want a braced one

Hi and welcome
just above the "rolling" info banner above there is an underlined "Search" button, have a go with that and search removable towbar you will find hours of reading
ask 5 peeps and you will 5 answers which one is best as it really depends on the planned use
all will become clear with a few search's read, then only you can decide which one to go for
as for your car you say not towbar but have you removed the panel and checked if the towing sockets are there, if not as said easy to fit.
ps. just done it and there are only 412 results
you wont need to read them all... Transit! 2019

As the guys have said easy fit for electrics just plug and play.
Just make sure you have the car plugged in and set for towing or all sorts of strange things can happen when you put your trailer on the back. Only problem you'll have then at 2000kg is remembering it's there!
