tow bar electrics
hi ,is it a diy job to wire in the standard trailer electrics , where would i tap into the wires on the car etc ,
any help appreciated Current D4 with B4 face lift conversion
Ex - D3 Gs with 4 face conversion

With the LR wiring loom, it should be plug 'n' play

any ideas Where though , as in physically where does it connect and plug in Current D4 with B4 face lift conversion
Ex - D3 Gs with 4 face conversion

When you run the cable from the gromiit behind the rear drivers side light and along the top if the rear chassis cross rail you might find it rubs on the swinging anti vib weights.
My solution was to feel the top if the rear cross rail for a small pre drilled hole. Then find a small bolt and nut that will fit the hole given the limited clearance above to the underside of the bumper.
Push the tow electics loom back and insert the bolt in the hole with the nut then screwed down to force the top of the bolt up towards the underside of the bumper trapping the loom behind the nut and away from any chaffing by the anti vib weights.
Grease the bolt incase you need to remove later.
