Tow electrics - help!
Dear all,
Would anyone be able to assist with a conundrum involving fitted of twin electrics to my 2007 SE D3?
I purchased the electrics from a forum member who removed them from his vehicle but when I look at the connectors they simply don’t match those on my car...
Does anyone know if there are two versions of the north and south electrics and if and when they changed connector types.
I’ve attached photos below to show the different connector types
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Might be me but that looks like a D4 loom that you are trying to fit to a D3?

If there are the wrong ones I have a complete twin set came with my 09 D3 pm me if interested. Mine came with 13 pin fitted so I have no need for them.

the factory loom is in 2 parts.
a long section which terminates by the rear light with 3 plugs
and a short section which goes between the rear light and inside the car.
Maybe you only have the long one? Try measuring or fitting from the socket and see if you only get as far as the light ! and not inside!
or if it's just for a trailer, by some 7 core cable and follow this!
