tow electrics for horse trailer

When I brought my D4 last week the dealer agreed to fit electrics for our horse trailer.

Went to use it today for 1st time and they have put the wrong one on.

This is what they have put on

That looks like the lastest type. You can get adapter leads or change the socket to the older type.

Is the nail varnish on one nail a statement? Very Happy

13 Pin, much better than the 7 Pin.
You just need a 13 Pin to 7 Pin adapter.

Is it worth paying a bit extra for a discovery 4 one?

The first one will do what your standard seven pin does, the second one only if you want extras, i.e. Reversing lights, direct link to the vehicle battery from the trailer etc. Also having the 13 Pin allows you to charge the battery also.
