guys - TPMS should be described as the road to madness. I've been down it. The pressure monintors the tyre places use will read these "so called genuine" sensors you have, so you get lulled into thinking they are OK, but the car still wont see them. You cant "code" them, even the dealer cant. All you can do is add the ID numbers into the car, but it still gets the info wrong. Been there done that.
As soon as I got so genuine ones there was non need to even put the ID's into the car, it found them straight away.

My local mobile tyre fitter has the machine so I would assume most tyre places would now. Cheers Ian

My house . Bought a tool and scanned them all, was reading on a site when I was having problems that some valves are shipped with the valve in shipping mode to
Save the batteries, scanning them activates them, that’s all I did and they worked after that, no problems since.Jaguar I-Pace HSE imminent.

Sorry I sold it After I used it.
It was a ts401 but i’m Sure any tyre place can scan them, just ask them to scan the new sensors to make sure they are all working. It’s all I did.Jaguar I-Pace HSE imminent.

Got mine sorted, Bush and Kwik fit didn't have a clue how to sort them, a local independent pumped the tyres right up and then reduced the pressures to normal while the ignition was on and within 2 miles the light had gone out.
Valves were £40/set off eBay, so I'm pleased with that. 2014 D4 XS

Gone through similar problems recently with a new set of valves fitted to my spare wheels after the TPMS retrofit and after trying the air pressure up trick, cheap amazon TPMS activator, I ended up getting the Autel TS401 and all wheels worked straight away and TPMS re-enabled after a couple of miles of driving.
Will be putting it up for sale on Forum, so anybody wanting to activate their valves and then sell on to another forum member, hopefully none of us should be too much out of pocket for a simple task. The local tyre garages I tried were quoting 35 to 45 to activate.
