trading down very unhappily

So life keeps pitching curved balls and I am now forced to part with my beloved disco. I have enjoyed lavishing this car with goodies and sorting out the issues with your help. At a time when I needed to be part of a community ( due to ill health in the family) you have never let me down !! A big thank-you to you all, I will be watching from the other side and I hope to recommence the journey some time soon. Keep up the good work and lashings of humour !!
All the very best to you all

Hugh

Hugh we could all be in the same boat at any time, so do not walk away as we will not think twice about the fact you do not have a disco. This forum from what I have seen is all about helping each other both practically and with the occasional p*** take so stay around Thumbs Up

Thanks guys.
Let me tell you my quandry. I drive an ageing 5 series BMW approx 500 miles per week, usually over six days. Then once a week the disco gets an outing. The cost of fuel and 25000 extra miles on the odometer of the Disco would cost me a fortune. Can't seem to satisfy the head and the heart !! So recently I have been alternating between the BM my wifes MX5 and the Disco. Three tax, three insurance, three mot and three lots of service. Any suggestions welcome but I reckon a boring passat estate may have to replace two cars. All suggestions welcome plus donations to the discohugh benevolent fund even better Laughing
