Trailer tail (park) lights not working

I have a 2006 Disco 3 V8. When I towed my boat the past weekend I realized that the tail (park) lights are not working. I took the car to an auto-electrician and he did some tests. His conclusion was that there is nothing coming out on the connector responsible for activating the tail lights on the trailer when one switch on the head lights of the Disco. The indicators and the brake lights are working fine, and the trailer is wired to the correct standard.

As the Disco trailer plug is a sealed unit, I am not sure what to do or how to resolve this issue. Is there maybe someone who can assist me with a possible solution....?

Wiggs,

Thanks for the reply, I did check the fuse box and everything seems to be working. Although I am not sure which fuse is responsible for the tail lights on the trailer.

If the fuses are all okay it might be worth removing the rear lamp (same side as the fuses) and checking the connectors behind it are okay, some are for the towing electrics, if it's dirty contacts disconnecting and reconnecting them may be all that's needed to sort it out
