Great trip, do you mind me asking where you got the maps from to plan such a trip?
1997 Defender 90 for the kids and I to have a go at some competitive off road RTV and Tyro trials, daughter picked up her first trophy over the August Bank Holiday.

soviet military maps never failed me any place we have gone to

All the maps and mapping software we used is CompeGPS Land
Not cheap, but they do do 50% deals sometimes

What a great trip, I am inspired, I have just bought the Land mapping software for my mac and the TWONAV app for my ipad, 50% off the land software at the moment as mentioned earlier.
Could I ask which maps you used to plan your route, and do you still have it as a file I could use in the land software as it looks a great route.
What checks and maintenance did you do before your trip on the Disco, and what spares did you think to take.

CompGPS do a map package of the Pyrenees, depending on the route you take at the western edge you may need to purchase a couple of extra tiles, also for the med side in France.Club N.E.R.D.s

Yes we used the comp gps software along with memory map with the French maps

Plus you can download excellent 1:25k and 1:50k maps free from the Spsnish cartographic perps, and most excellent maps they are too.
