Transk9 dog crate owners - help please

Hi all,

I’ve recently bought a B12 double crate and it seems to be moving about a bit.

The b24 that we had previously seems quite snug.

Has anyone else had this issue with the b12, as I’m wondering whether to strap it down.

Any thoughts?
Simon

I have the single type, and I've always had it strapped down, just didn't like the through of what would happen in a crash - so I would suggest you strap it down to the boot loops Thumbs Up

There's slots in the base for passing a ratchet strap through for neatness.

If you look on the website some of the pictures actually show a ratchet strap going over the tip of the cage too

I think these videos http://www.centerforpetsafety.org/test-res...y-results/ show you need it strapped down, and with good straps too.

I have the B10 in mine, which I think is just the taller version of yours. Mines not strapped down and doesn’t move at all.
However, I do have the RRS luggage rails fitted which seem to be in the perfect position to stop it sliding about.

Here they are.

Not quite, the B10 is slightly wider so you won't notice it moving much

I’ll strap it down. Seems sensible.

I only know that because I've been looking at the site for hours trying to work out the best way to get the maximum amount of space. I couldn't believe the two Discovery options were actually different sizes.

The smaller one does seem to waste quite a bit of space down the sides, which is a shame
