Trip to the costa del sol?
Hi all, I’m after a bit of advice as we would like to have a little road trip down to Spain in August (school holidays).
But where would people recommend?
What’s the best route?
How much are the tolls?
We are pretty open to where abouts doesn’t have to be in del sol area.
Any input would be very much appreciated.

Only to say that the sunny part of Spain, is the most ugly and full of tourists. Everything depends on what you are looking for.

Thanks ruben, but i do like the costas and like being a tourist not to keen on mainland, we'd need sea and a pool especially to occupy the kids.

Lived in cabo roig for 2 years that was quite nice lots of tourists but it helps the economy of the country a lot lots of apartments/houses to rent their Discovery 3 se gone

I understand travelers better than tourists, I try to be continuously, at least once a year, and you can also to be a traveler on a beach of course and not a tourist, I do not know your interests ....so I can not help you then!!
..but do not worry!! surely you will find someone who will serve you a frozen paella or a supermarket sangria!!

Blimey please don’t take it the wrong way, it’s just whe we go away we do prefer the touristy areas as we seems to not appreciate where we are due to being to wrapped up in worrying where we are?
When your at a tourist area every thing is simple (bit like my needs)
