Truly Awesome Car

We have just returned from a family short break at Center Parcs in Longleat. Originally there was going to be 9 of us going, 6 adults and 3 children, going in 2 cars our Discovery and a Ford Fusion (Grandparents car, i tried to persuade them not to buy it!), but due to the dumping of snow last weekend and a forecast of further snow the Grandparents decided to stay at home. This meant that we had to get 4 adults and 3 children in the Disco, including 1 buggie, 1 sledge, 3 large barrel bags, 2 hand luggage bags, 1 shovel, food supplies, laptop, 7 pairs of Wellie boots, coats etc etc etc etc. I did contemplate buying a top box from Halfords in desperation but they looked s Censored t, so we decided to try and fit it all in the car and to my amazement it all went in!!!! Thumbs Up We drove at a steady pace as it was snowing and i got 29.5 MPG even though we were fully loaded, and i mean FULLY loaded.

Sad I thought we were going to get some war stories e.g. chased by lions in the snow e.t.c., not a poncy replay of the old Generation Game Laughing
