If I'd known I was going to be so thirsty this morning I'd have drunk more beer last night.

After being TC'd, I regularly saw 30+mpg, however I'm now averaging about 25
Truth is that I have a heavy right foot and as the novelty has worn off so has the tenacity to drive for economy. I prefer the to the idea of fuel economy 8)The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

I tend to use the boot a bit on mine from time to time and have seen 15 mpg around town on a coldish engine.
I wanted the TC tune to reduce the lag at junctions rather than economy which it succeeded in doing very well. However the overall mpg has improved from week to week by about 4mpg, which is a bonus. FFRR 2017 4.4SDV8 Autobiography. Cost so much I must be mad!

Just had the car Torq Tuned and what a difference. No intitial delay & acceleration is great compared with the standard LR set up. Many thanks TFC, great job done.
On the way to meet TFC I reset my trip computer and, in the interests of science and cause I was going to be way too early, cruised the 60ish miles to meet him at 60mph mostly on cruise & no AC. Trip guage read 32.5 av mpg. After the retune did same journey at the same speed, leaving AC off (bit sweaty though) and at the end of the same journey it read 36.0mpg. This is subject to the accuracy of the D3 trip computer and assumes that both are over optimistic by the same amount, the increase is mpg is 10.8%. Very happy with that, just have to remember that a heavy right foot will wipe that out!

She knows!!! Life wouldn't be worth living if I sneaked that in on the quiet and she found out. I am totally useless at keeping secrets from her as she reads me like a book.
Mind U, now where can I hide that next set of wheels??????

Kids eh, can't keep them quiet. OK DW U can look after my wheels if I can look after Brendan's D3!!!
I must bring down my 3 ton trolley jack if you have storage you are welcome to hold on to it. Might be handy for changing wheels or jacking up some of those large Wexford women !
Your welcome to hide anything here!Googsy

I had a JE tune.
Before, I was getting 27.1mpg.
Expected this to get better, but it's down around 25.5mpg.
My driving style hasn't changed.
Could this have something to do with me moving from a 40 to a 45 profile tyre at the same time.
I know there will be a difference, but don't know which way?
Any ideas???I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.
