Not sure yet.
I did use (well my local independant garage did) an alternative to the Innotec for the same reason as you, a product dedicated to professional, from america, that goes in, under air pressure, from the lower EGR valve hole (the closest one to the turbo) then through the turbo, exaust and out, lots of white fume (normal) while doing so.
Did 1000 Km yesterday with only one engine fault after 900 Km, so much better than before but maybe not fixed yet
more info soon but after biling as no internet connection there

They quoted £40.86 inc VAT and uk postage but they're down the road so can pick up, thanks for the offer zarnd.
I'll need to investigate if the kit has enough contents to fill from EGR to turbo or if i can get in through wheel arch, should be fun.
Or perhaps i'll wimp out and give the kit to a garage!

I've just read the thread by JR titled "Help power loss"
Seems may be a software fix!

Hi this is my 1st Post in this forum. On Monday (19/07/10) I have to take my 07 registered HSE in for a new Turbo under warranty. As yet I do not know if it will be remapped or not. Any way the symptoms were :-
1) Sudden sluggish performance.
2) Centre warning dash showing "Engine Fault" With the refer to manual logo.
No other warnings showing. As I was within 3 miles of my Main Dealer (Guy Salmons). I drove there. They put it on their Diagnostics Computer & Pronounced an Turbo fault. I don't know what they did but I drove the Vehicle away & was told I could use it until Monday. Although still a little sluggish there was no warning on the dash. I will ask about the Remap when I pick it up.

I wouldn't mention the fact that it is remapped to the dealer as they could quite rightly turn round and present you with the bill for the repair. You may find that the remap has gone after the new turbo has been fitted if they update the software, but not 100%.

I think he is referring to a Re-FLASH, the files were updated with a programme to exercise the Variable Vanes after this fault became apparent, on the start up sequence the blades fully open and close to clear carbon build up.

Hi there, My D3 is now back on the road and back up to speed. I found that Landrover, has remapped the ecu to counteract carbon build up on the Turbo vanes. This was done as part of the Service contract. It all remains to see how long this turbo lasts. My Waranty is up in December this year. It's only done 27600 mls. I Hope all goes well
