Twin batteries and split charge sytem

[Does anyone have experience of installing a second battery and split charge system. In particular, where to install the second battery?[/quote]

All depends on what your putting it in.

D3 has a second battery box under the bonnet.
D4 without stop/start same place.
D4 with stop/start has a load of kit in this box so you need to fit it in the rear. Behind the passenger side panel in the boot.

Just search split charge system and all will be revealed Thumbs Up

I’m thinking about it, just to stop the constant voltage drops when starting the car!
