Twin Intercoolers - ?

Just a thought ????

Had the Alisport Intercooler [from Discocuzzy] fitted.
Still got the original one.
Just wondering if there's any benefit to plumbing in the original one alongside the Alisport?

Confused

Increasing the length of the forced induction tract (by adding a second intercooler) will only serve to lessen the effectiveness of the turbo. The pressure effect of the turbo is reduced as the tract is lengthened so you might eventually need a second turbo to boost your cooler air which would defeat the purpose. The ideal is turbo to intercooler to inlet-manifold with as short a pipe run as possible.

Or put another way, stop thinking - it will rot your brain......... Whistle

You nearly got it right, fit twin intercoolers along with twin turbos from the D4 and some TDV8 injectors to boot Smile
