Two snorkels for Discovery 4 5.0 V8?
Howdy group,
I was looking at a 5.0 V8 Discovery 4 (LR4 for those in the United States) and see that both sides of the fenders have functional air intake vents.
Does this mean that if a snorkel system is to be fitted to the D4 5.0 V8, this will mean a snorkel on BOTH sides of the vehicle?
It would look very very unusual, I would think. Anyone seen a twin snorkel setup on a D4 5.0?

Yup two airboxes and no *fake* air intakes
No RAI according to accesory brochure

parts are required for 3.0L TDV6 models. Please see your

As someone who is about to buy a D4 TDV6 has anybody resolved this problem yet?
The photo looks great, it would really work........some awesome photo editing but shows that it would look great.

The diesel has one air intake the other is false, so RAI is doable for diesel D4 as only one required...unlike the original post which is for the petrol V8.

Not a problem on the tdv6 as the air comes in from the vent on the right hand side (drivers side in uk). The other one is for symmetryPrince Harry's D3: G4 factory equipped D3 - expo rack, winch, roof lights, ladder, active locking rear diff, RAI, Melville & Moon seat covers, General Grabber ATs/ Goodyear Duratrac

Going to have a look at one on Monday, I obviously need to lift the bonnet!
It is a 2.7, same engine as D3 so makes sense that it only needs one.......will be great if it does as I have a Safari Snorkel 'in stock' ....... in fact I have a winch bumper, sump guard & snorkel which were waiting to go on my D3 and looks like they will all fit on the D4, awesome.
