My wife has a 2008 Freelander that we bought secondhand about four years ago. All the tyres were the same make Kumo loads of tread left. They started to look a bit perished so today I swapped cars for the day and got them changed. They all had about 3-4 mm left but I didn't like the fine cracks. To everyone's shock when the tyres were off I checked the date code on the tyres.

Just shy of 17 years old  I'm guessing the previous owner had an old set in the shed somewhere and put them on before trading it in, I doubt the dealer would have put 13 year old tyres on before selling it would they, not a main dealership
