tyres

had blow out on back tyres split from tread to alloy 3500 on clock should this be landrovers problem any advise please

Difficult to prove. Get the tyre examined if there is anything left. At the end of the day it would be the tyre manufacturer to go after.
 In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

It is worth checking the load rating, I seem to remember seeing posts about RRS wheels being same size as D3 but the tyres have not got the same rating. Maybe the dealer has put the wrong tyres on !!!

I have seen a RRS on a motorway hard shoulder with the same problem, didn't seem to be much left of the tyre, (probably because he carried on driving on it for miles), it could also be an alignment problem causing tyre to overheat.

thanks all landrover just said not our tyres take it up with goodyear not such a thing as any come back with tyres faulty or not £175 FOR THE PLEASURE i ll take it up with customer care on tues
